Just a quick post from me today. A pair of baby booties from 2013. My own pattern, available on Ravelry.
I don’t think it’s a secret, but I LOVE to knit. It keeps me sane, it makes me happy and I always feel productive. Friends and family place orders with me, I knit a lot of gifts for the newborns of friends, ex-colleagues and also for family members. I generally don’t have a plan, but when I receive orders I add them to my queue and when I find out about people expecting babies I add that to the queue too. That’s about it!
I would like to complete a pair of socks every month and two Christmas tree ornaments. I am not sure if I am being too ambitious, but I think it’s doable!
Here are the socks I have queued on Ravelry. The ornaments I will pick as and when I come to making them.

My only dilemma now is which ones should I start with?
A friend who had a baby in 2014 asked me to knit some warm socks for him.
I had some leftover navy DROPS Merino Extra Fine at home and used it for this pattern.
The fun about this pattern is that it knits up very quickly, and it makes them extra cosy and ‘snuggly’ as Luke would say.
The cables that run down the cuff of the sock look really sweet.
And my friend sent me a picture of her gorgeous little man wearing them, doesn’t he look happy?
