2/40 Beaches: Bondi Beach

Disclaimer: this is not my first time at Bondi Beach…but this was my first time when it was very quiet!

Bondi Beach is perhaps THE most famous Australian beach…and it’s pretty special! But I have never really seen the appeal of it, particularly as I detest sharing a beautiful beach with 100s or 1000s of other people. Imagine my joy and surprise when I went today to meet up with a work friend to find it practically deserted!

It’s even more impressive because usually it’s absolutely FULL of people! And this to me, despite the wind, was heaven!

Funniest thing of all, you know I shared Coogee Beach in January… I actually met up with the same friend (and work colleague) at this beach too…what are the chances?

The world is such a strange place at the moment, and despite everything I am grateful to be living in this incredible country and being able to go adventures like this (enabling others to do the same) and to be able to give my children a relatively normal childhood.

We make footprints in the sand, not knowing where they will take us, but ending up exactly where we need to be!

1/40 Beaches: Coogee Beach

I wasn’t sure if I was cheating adding Coogee Beach, as I didn’t actually make it onto the beach on Sunday, as it was insanely busy. But it’s my list and I can complete it however I like! ūüôā And I have previously been on Coogee Beach, so it still counts!

And instead of stepping onto the beach my friend and I walked along the path and cliffs, where there were fewer people. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
