Finished Knit: The Coolest Men’s Jumper

Yes, I also knit men’s things…especially when I am tasked with making a bright and colourful jumper for my good friend’s husband. This is one from the archives too, from 2015 to be exact. And funnily enough I was making this when I was pregnant with Max and two days after I gave birth to him (at home in the pool – best experience of my life), I was itching to get back to knitting because of this jumper!

And isn’t it absolutely fabulous? Yes, you read right, it was for a man! I remember knitting this and having soooo much fun with the colours and that colourwork for the yoke. It just made me very, very happy!

I used a DROPS Design pattern, but looking back on the pictures I believe I changed up the colourwork a little bit. I often speak about my love for DROPS Design. I love their patterns, they always are true to size (and psst, don’t tell anyone, but I don’t always do a tension square). I also love the DROPS yarn range, as they are wonderful to work with and have a huge range of different fibre combinations and amazingly fibrant colours.

That pink though, isn’t it fantastic? And the other colours in combination. I adore it! My friend’s husband looks pretty happy with it too!

Fuzzy picture I know, but it still shows the jumper in all it’s glory!
