FO: Kid Poncho

The green wool I used for the hat and mittens that I posted about two days ago, here, I also used for a poncho. I also added a lovely pink/purple hood to it.

For once I didn’t use a DROPS Design pattern, but this one that I found on Ravelry.

It’s a great, very straightforward and easy pattern that is knitted top-down and then the hood is added later. In fact it’s the first time I used a provisional cast on, which worked really well.

The green wool was given to me, but I got the pink/purple for the hood, which is DROPS Eskimo.

I decided not to add the tassels, but instead stuck to a plain garter stitch border.
