Someone in Australia ordered a vest from me last week and I was able to knit it up over the weekend, blocked it last night and posted it today.
It’s the old favourite DROPS pattern that I’ve knitted up for Luke and for his friend Myron. It’s a nice and easy knit and it’s very fast as well, which is always a bonus. The lady that ordered it chose a differen yarn, instead of DROPS Merino Extra Fine she chose DROPS Karisma. It’s equally nice and looks good when finished.
The colour is olive green, the pictures don’t really give it justice, but it looks quite nice and earthy. And I do hope the recipient will like it too.
The cables came out really well, but again the colour of the yarn doesn’t come out too great in this picture.
And here it is all wrapped on his way across the world to Australia, I do hope it keeps a little person really snug and warm.
