FO: Max’ Chevron Baby Blanket

Ok folks, I am going to attempt to post every day this December, so wish me luck! First off, here’s the chevron baby blanket I made for my Max.

I previously made this in black, grey and white for my friend, and posted about it here.

The pattern is this¬†one and it’s brilliant how easy it is to knit, but actually looks very sophisticated.

I picked these blues and greens specifically when I knew we were expecting Max, I love them all together.

And here is my gorgeous boy, when he still seemed very little all wrapped up in his blanket.

FO: Fancy Chevron Blanket

Back in November last year I made a chevron blanket for my good friend Kersti. It was originally meant to be for her sister as a Christmas present, but she loved it so much she kept it for herself…now that’s one happy customer!!!

I loved knitting this, and even loved the shades of black and grey, even though they are a bit more sombre than my usual knitting. The end result turned out really well.

The pattern is actually really easy to knit up, it just takes a couple of rows to get used to it, and then it flies off the needles.

I loved making this blanket so much I made one in some blues and greens for Max, so watch this space.
